The questions post…

Hopefully some of the students who said they were going to read my blog have actually come to find it. I’m looking at you Ricky! This is going to be place for those of you with questions to post them. Any questions you have about Japan please post below! I want to answer your questions!

Look a comment section. It’s so big and empty. Fill it!

If the questions require a short answer on my part, I’ll simply leave a reply. If it’s a more in depth project, I’ll probably do a blog post about it and yes Natalie I’ll make it short.

Going to Hiroshima!

As many of you reading this already know, I, Mrs. Emeigh, am moving to Japan at the end of the summer. For those of you who do not already know me, I am a former seventh grade writing teacher at Bondy Intermediate in Pasadena, TX.

After a lifetime of dreaming and a year of stressing out, I have finally managed to get myself to Japan. I am going to be living in the Prefecture (state) of Hiroshima.

Click me to find out more about Miyajima shrine!

Hiroshima features such awesome things as the Otorii gate which sits out in the water off the island of Itsukushima. It features some awesome things like tame deer, a five story pagoda, and a shrine that looks like it’s floating at high tide.

Hiroshima is also home to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. I’ve included a link to a video above if you want to find out some more. There is some great information and some great footage. I of course will be doing my own tour of the museum during my stay so please look for that.

There are a lot more things that I hope to share with you including my own writing. That’s right be looking forward to seeing pieces of Talented featured in the writing section of the blog. Comments are always welcome below!
